We charge per individual for dining in our restaurant; meal sharing is prohibited. Charges are not based on the number of plates; each person consuming food will be charged accordingly.

Prices are for dining in only. If you would like to take food home, we provide a takeaway service and charge per box. Please see the prices for takeaway charges, depending on what you have.  

May Sum welcomes you to enjoy your meal and eat as much as you wish, but please be mindful of food waste. To support sustainability, a no-waste policy applies, with potential charges for excess food waste per plate, which are chargeable according to the takeaway box charges.

No outside drinks are permitted and consumed on site. Drinks will be discarded.

We welcome Walk-ins. However, to avoid disappointment, reserving a table with five guests or more is advisable. A deposit may be required for larger bookings. Please enquire for further information.

We do not take bookings for 1- 4 people; we operate walk-ins only.

Reservations are recommended to be made early in advance to avoid disappointment. We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for bookings with more than five guests. For larger bookings, please provide plenty of notice. All bookings are subject to availability. Bookings are not guaranteed without a deposit. Please enquire for further information. 

Our T&Cs of the free function room hire are based on a minimum spending requirement of £350. This means that as long as the booking meets the minimum spend threshold, you can enjoy the benefits of our function room without any additional fees. We ensure your minimum spend is easy to satisfy, with all food and drink spending going towards this total.  

Our T&Cs A deposit is required to secure your booking and to cover any potential damages. The deposit will be returned if there are no damages and the minimum spend requirement is met. Please enquire for further information. 

We can accommodate up to 35-40 people depending on the function.  

We have old and the latest songs; most can be searched on our cloud-based system.  

English, Mandarin and cantonese are available.  

Only two wireless microphones are available to sing at any given time.  

We do not have a strict dress code. We are family-friendly and recommend dressing respectfully for your occasion.
